Dub Echoes - a dub documentary
Amazing documentary of the history of Jamaican Dub sound with tons of interviews from dub originators to current artists. For anyone that is a fan of sound engineering, it’s a must see. That’s one of the reasons I love dub style so much is because of the raw art-form and engineering abilities that trump any million dollar studio. They were doing it on cheap, often home made and malfunctioning equipment. How I like it, lo-fi and original as fuck. Amazing.
